HISTORY

Altec was founded in 1982 with the goal of providing reliable products at affordable costs and a component of aggregate services, to troubleshoot process control and quality assurance in industries that involve conversion, finishing & printing papers, packaging films, among other areas.



Backed by the laws Reserve Market aimed at encouraging Brazilian businessmen to invest in expanding the industrial park in the country, Altec took the opportunity to combine technology and experience to launch the first fully national manufacturing equipment to control machines that process continuous sheets.

From the beginning, Altec was fundamental concern to build lasting relationships with its trading partners and differentiate themselves in the care offered to their customers. This assistance includes full technical support from the identification of control requirements, specification, installation, start-up of our equipment, operator training and technical assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Starting its operations acting almost exclusively in the Brazilian market of pulp and paper industries, Altec quickly evolved into segments of plastic films, rubber blankets, fabric, yarn, etc.. Besides Brazil, Altec has taken steps to globalize their operations through partnerships, distributorships, as well as offices in some countries. This strategy has allowed Altec to increase year after year, it's exportation .

The current view of Altec is to be a global company, capable of developing, manufacturing, applications engineering support and total customer control systems and consumables for industrial conversion, finishing and printing. The purpose of the Altec is becoming a leader in the Latin American market in your area of expertise and expand its operations to North America, Europe and Asia.
