Prevents Survey / Borders Detachment of the Cliché
The lifting of the edges of a cliché photopolymer can be a major cause of stops flexographic printers.
So besides using a double-sided tape of good quality, using a good technique for cleaning the surface of the cylinder or sleeve, applying double-sided tape on the collar surface and this cliché, it should be conveniently sealing edge this cliché, to prevent ingress of solvent / ink and cause its detachment of the tape. For this, we use a "Primer" which when applied under the edges of the cliché, it increases the adhesiveness of the cliche with double-sided tape, thus avoiding displacements of the same.
